Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Georgii Shilovskii, an individual developer ("we", "us", "our"), the developer of the Rayita application ("Rayita" or the "App"), contactable at support@shilovskii.dev.

By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use Rayita.

Summary

Rayita is a unit converter and a personal injection journal for iPhone and iPad, distributed through the App Store. It runs on your device — no account, no server of ours, no analytics. The converter, the log, two vials, one protocol with its reminders, site rotation, the estimated level, your measurements and CSV export are free and permanent; an optional auto-renewing subscription lifts the vial and protocol limits, brings reminders for every protocol, and adds the doctor PDF. Rayita is a unit converter and a record-keeping journal, not a medical device: it does not diagnose, treat, or choose a dose. Every number it shows is arithmetic over values you supplied — always verify the result against the physical vial and syringe in front of you. All your data lives on your device; we never receive it and cannot recover it. Your data outlives your subscription: if you stop paying you can still view, edit, export and delete everything, free.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will reflect the current version. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

1. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Rayita on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with the App Store Usage Rules and these Terms. You may not redistribute, sublicence, rent, lease, or resell Rayita, nor remove any proprietary notices from it.

2. Subscription, trial, and pricing

  • Rayita is free to download and free to use: the converter is unlimited, and the log, two vials, one protocol with its reminders, site rotation, the estimated level, your measurements and CSV export cost nothing, permanently.
  • An optional auto-renewing subscription — Annual or Monthly, in the "Rayita" subscription group — removes the vial and protocol limits, brings reminders for every protocol, and adds the PDF doctor report. The annual plan includes a free trial for eligible new subscribers; you are charged nothing during the trial, and the first charge date is shown before you subscribe.
  • Prices are shown in the App Store and in the app before purchase and may vary by region. Subscriptions auto-renew at the then-current price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions, in Rayita's Settings → Subscription, or at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions (opens in a new tab). Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
  • Purchases are charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. We never hold your payment details — billing is entirely Apple's, and we receive only an entitlement signal.
  • Your data outlives your subscription. If a subscription ends, everything you logged remains on your device and remains viewable, editable, exportable and deletable without paying.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's refund policy. We are not able to issue refunds directly. Submit refund requests at reportaproblem.apple.com (opens in a new tab).
  • Family Sharing is not enabled at v1.

3. Not medical advice, not a medical device

Rayita is a unit converter and a personal record-keeping journal. It is not a medical device and provides no medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. It does not choose, suggest, adjust or validate a dose; it converts a dose you have entered into units on a syringe scale, and keeps the records you choose to log.

Nothing in Rayita — including the number of units, the estimated level, charts, adherence figures or the doctor report — is a diagnosis, a recommendation, or an indication that any dose, substance, schedule or route is appropriate, safe or effective for you. Decisions about what to take, how much and how often belong to you and your healthcare professional. Never disregard professional advice because of something Rayita displayed.

4. You are responsible for what you enter and what you do with it

Every number Rayita shows is arithmetic over values you supplied. If a vial's contents, a solvent volume, a concentration or a dose is entered incorrectly, the result will be incorrect. Always verify the result against the physical vial and syringe before drawing a dose, and read the labelling of any product you use. Rayita cannot see your vial, your syringe or your body.

5. The level estimate is a simplified model

The estimated level is a one-compartment exponential-decay calculation over the doses you logged and a half-life value. It assumes a dose appears in the body instantly and in full, and it ignores absorption, bioavailability, volume of distribution and route of administration. It is not a blood concentration and must not be used to decide whether, when or how much to take. Half-life values shipped with the app are quoted from published human sources with links; sources may be incomplete, superseded or inapplicable to a particular product or person.

6. Reference data

Substance names, dosage forms and half-life values are reference data about molecules — not guidance about use. Rayita contains no recommended doses, no dose ranges, no titration schedules, no protocols and no indications, and none may be inferred from anything it displays.

7. Apple Health

Connecting Apple Health is optional and Rayita works fully without it. You control what Rayita may read or write, type by type, in the Health app, and the data flows only on your device. You are responsible for the accuracy of data you author into Apple Health. Rayita never purges Apple Health — manage that data in the Health app.

8. Your data, backup & no recovery

Rayita stores everything locally on your device, and — only if you enable it — in your own private iCloud through Apple's CloudKit. We do not collect, receive or have access to any of it, and we cannot recover it after device loss, disk failure, software bugs, deletion or uninstall. You are responsible for your own backups — use the CSV export, or your device and iCloud backup. See the Privacy Policy for full detail.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to (a) reverse-engineer the App except to the extent permitted by law, (b) circumvent the subscription or any limit it applies, or (c) use Rayita to violate any law or any person's rights.

10. Intellectual property

Rayita, its source code, branding and documentation are owned by us. Quoted source material — such as sentences from medicine labels or published studies — is attributed in-app with a link to the original and remains the property of its respective owners.

11. Updates

We may release updates that add, modify or remove features. We currently target iOS 26.0 and later. Updates ship through the App Store.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ANY CALCULATION, ESTIMATE OR OTHER OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PURPOSE.

13. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA OR PROFITS, OR FOR ANY HEALTH OUTCOME, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF RAYITA, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US (THROUGH APPLE) IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

14. Termination

You may stop using Rayita and cancel the subscription at any time. We may terminate access for a material breach of these Terms or where required by law. Sections 3–13 survive termination.

15. Apple-specific terms

These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. We — not Apple — are solely responsible for Rayita and its content. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Apple has no maintenance, support or warranty obligation for Rayita. You represent that you are not located in a U.S.-embargoed country and are not on any U.S. government prohibited-party list.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Mexico (the United Mexican States), without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
